Scholarship Awards:
Each award is $1,500 that is sent to the recipient’s college, to be used for tuition or books.
Criteria for Applying:
- All applicants must reside in Jersey City or Bayonne NJ.
- All applicants must be scheduled to graduate from high school in May / June 2011.
- All applicants must have applied for acceptance in accredited two year or four year college (location of college does not matter.)
- Applicants must submit a completed application form that includes high school transcript, recommendation from one high school teacher, financial section that demonstrates a need, a recent picture with a 300 word essay that describes the applicant’s leadership ability.
- All applicants must submit to an interview session that will be scheduled during the month of May 2011.
Completed applications have to be returned to the Foundation on or before April 30, 2011.
